Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS)

FMS is an essential component to our physical education program. Coach Manu and Coach Corey supports and develops skills that contributes to our children's gross motor skills. This week we learnt about how to side gallop.
 1) We warm up by side galloping to "Ring-a-Rosie"

"A tissue, a tissue we all fall down, fishes in the water, fishes in the sea, we all jump up with a 1, 2.....

2...............3333333!

Then we positioned our feet to face the stage
We practice side galloping walking and remembering to not touch the white line or else we get electrocuted
Then we add a bounce to it and side gallop to the other side of the hall
WARM DOWN: We side gallop on the line to gallop away from Coach Corey and Coach Manu who tags us and then we have to sit down and out of the game.
 Leyon is the WINNER!!
